Job Description
WATCHVIRK PTY LTD is seeking a Watch Polisher to join our team in Melbourne, VIC ****. This is a full time position that plays a key role in polishing and maintenance of Luxury Watches. As a Watch Polisher, you will be responsible for polishing and refinishing watches.

Key responsibilities:
n
Polish and refinish watch cases, bezels, bracelets and other components using appropriate techniques and materials
n
Inspect watches for damage, scratches and imperfections before and after polishing
n
Use specialised polishing equipment and tools to achieve the desired finish whilst maintaining precision
n
Handle delicate and valuable timepieces with care and attention to detail
n
Remove marks, scuffs and oxidation from watch surfaces without compromising the original design
n
Work with different materials including stainless steel, gold, platinum and other alloys
n
Maintain a clean and organised workstation in compliance with health and safety standards
n
Follow quality control procedures to ensure consistent and high-quality results
n
Communicate with other team members regarding watch condition and any issues requiring specialist attention
n
What we're looking for:

Preferably past experience or training in similar industry or horological technician role
n
Intermediate or proficient in polishing equipments
n




Understanding of different watch materials and their appropriate treatment methods
n
Attention to detail and ability to work with precision on intricate components
n
Manual dexterity and steady hands for detailed work
n
Ability to follow technical guidelines and quality standards
n
Communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
n
Commitment to maintaining high standards of work
n
Problem-solving skills to address challenges in the polishing process
