Lead health, safety and wellbeing across a purpose-driven organisation in Aged Care.

We are seeking an experienced Manager, Health, Safety & Wellbeing to lead the organisation’s health, safety, wellbeing and injury management function.

This is a senior prospect for a strategic and commercially minded WHS/OHS professional who can influence leaders, strengthen safety culture and deliver practical solutions across a complex organisation.

About the role

Reporting to the General Manager, People, Culture & Diversity, you will:
Lead the organisation’s WHS/OHS framework and strategic wellbeing agenda.
Provide expert advice across WHS, wellbeing, injury management and WorkCover.
Drive initiatives that improve safety culture, employee wellbeing and organisational capability.
Oversee risk management, audits, incident management and compliance.
Manage complex investigations, claims and workplace matters.
Prepare insightful WHS, wellbeing and WorkCover reporting for senior management and the Board.
Lead, coach and develop the Health, Safety & Wellbeing team.




Partner with HR and operational leaders to drive positive cultural change.

About you

You will bring:
Relevant qualifications in WHS/OHS, HR or a related discipline.
Extensive experience across WHS/OHS and WorkCover.
Robust knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and industry standards.
Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.
Experience managing complex claims, investigations, audits and workplace matters.
Strong stakeholder management, influencing and communication skills.
The ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on and solutions focused.

A Return to Work Coordinator qualification and/or Cert IV in WHS would be highly regarded.
