Operations Assistant
n Reporting to: Head of Event Operations
n Purpose
n This position will provide administrative and on-ground support for the Operations and Infrastructure team for the Melbourne Cup Carnival **** build and delivery.
n
Stakeholders
n
Internal: Executive team, department heads, managers, Board of Directors, and the broader VRC team.
n
External: VRC members, customers, clients, suppliers, vendors, and relevant industry networks and associations.
n
Focus
n
n
Provide operational support for the operations, infrastructure and hospitality teams for the duration of The Melbourne Cup Carnival build and delivery.
n
Provide administrative excellence and oversee delivery of actions, support for implementation of processes
n
Provide site support for our delivery team
n
Event day operational support
n
Event day – Help Desk
n
Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team culture and support continuous improvement.
n
