The Temple Department isseekingto appoint a Clerical Leaderbased inthe SydneyTemple office.We areseekingan organized,proactive, patron-focusedleader whofeels that they are willing and able to servein a temple workplace.This permanent full-time role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to all who come to the House of the Lord.

The successful applicant willreport tothe Temple Recorderandplay a key role in supporting patrons,and the TemplePresidency coordinatingadministrative functions,maintainingaccuraterecords, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation ofthe temple office.

As the Clerical Leader, your responsibilitieswill include:
n
Assistpatrons preparing to receive sacred ordinances.
n
Support patrons and priesthood leaders by helping resolve complex enquiries in a courteous, confidential manner.
n
Assistpatrons with temple housing bookingsand payments.
n
Manageand ensuretimelypayments to approved vendors.
n




Maintain and regularly updatetemple workerdatabases, ensuring information is accurate.
n
Monitor inventories to ensure adequate office and operation supplies.
n
The ideal applicant willdemonstrate:
n
An attitude of serving with kindness and reverence.
n
Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.
n
And have a minimum of twoyears ofoffice management experiencealong withtwoyears of temple computer systems, Family History,or related fields, or equivalent educationexperience.

Supervisoryskills with the abilitytomotivate and support staff tomaintainhigh standardsofaccuracyandembrace newprocesses.
n
Attention to detailwhen processing bookings, payments, andconfidential records.
n
Sound judgement and problem-solving ability when handling enquiries and resolving issues.
n
Integrity, discretion, and the ability tomaintainconfidentiality.
n
The ability to prioritize competing tasks and remain calm in a sometimes-busy temple office.
n
The applicant must have the following:

Proof of legal right to work in Australia.
