About the role
n We are seeking an experienced and passionate Team Leader – Social and Emotional Wellbeing (SEWB)to provide operational leadership, cultural guidance, and clinical support within our growing multidisciplinary team. This is a newly created full time position, and will be based across three clinics - Coomera, Miami, and Bilinga.

What you'll be doing
n

Team leadership and operational managementn
n
Coordinate daily workloads, case allocations, and team priorities.
n
Monitor productivity, service standards, and performance outcomes.
n
Lead, coach, mentor, and support team members to achieve operational targets.
n
Conduct regular supervision, one-on-one meetings,
and performance discussions.
n
n
Cultural leadershipn
n
Provide cultural supervision and leadership to a multidisciplinary workforce.
n
Support the delivery of culturally safe, responsive, and person-centred services.
n
Provide cultural advice and guidance to staff to support informed decision‐making.
n
Promote best‐practice approaches to incident management, client feedback, and service improvement.
n
Advocate for culturally specific services and support pathways.
n
n
Clinical governancen
n
Work collaboratively with the Program Manager to support the development and delivery of mental health and AoD programs.
n
Contribute to the development, review, and implementation of clinical policies, procedures, and standards.
n
Ensure clinical documentation and reporting requirements are completed to a high standard.
n
Coordinate client flow through intake, assessment, referral, and care planning processes.
n

n
About You
n
You're someone who:
n
n
Brings experience in understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, communities, and health priorities
n
Can demonstrate leadership experience within health, mental health, social and emotional wellbeing, alcohol and other drugs, community services, or related fields
n
Is passionate about making a positive impact and supporting others with heart and purpose.
n
Bachelor of Health Services/Social Work/Social Sciences or related field
n
Minimum of 3 years in a SEWB related field
n
Sophisticated working knowledge of mental health and AoD issues, conditions, and services.
n

A Blue Card for working with children ('No Card No Start' policy applies)
n
National police check
n
*IDENTIFIED POSITION - To perform this role it is essential that the person who holds the position be an Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person. It is therefore a genuine occupational requirement under section 25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act **** that applicants are Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islanders.
