We are seeking a skilled Onshore ETL Technical Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and data engineering teams. The role involves analysing data requirements, defining transformation logic, and ensuring high-quality data integration across systems. The ideal candidate will have robust expertise in data analysis, ETL processes, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements & Analysis
n
n
Gather and analyze business and data requirements from stakeholders
n




Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications
n
Define and document Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM)
n
n
Data Analysis & Profiling
n
n
Analyze source systems, schemas, and data flows
n
Perform data profiling, validation, and quality assessment
n
Identify data issues, gaps, and inconsistencies
n
n
ETL & Data Integration Support
n
n
Collaborate with ETL developers to:
n
Define data transformation rules
n
Support data cleansing and enrichment requirements
n
Ensure data lineage and traceability
n
n
Support integration across multiple systems
n
Documentation
n
n
Create and maintain:
n
Source-to-Target Mapping documents
n
Data dictionaries and metadata
n
Process and data flow diagrams
n
n
Document business rules and transformation logic
n
Testing & Validation
n
n
Develop test scenarios, test cases, and expected results
n
Support SIT and UAT cycles
n
Validate ETL outputs against business requirements and data rules
n
n
Stakeholder Management
n
n
Act as a liaison between business, data engineers, and QA teams
n
Facilitate discussions, clarify requirements, and resolve issues
n
Provide regular status updates and documentation
n
n
