THE ROLE

We are seeking an Enrolled Nurse to join our growing Urgent Care Service.
n
Working alongside Registered Nurses, you will provide safe, high-quality nursing care for patients presenting with urgent conditions that are not immediately life-threatening.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
n
n
Provide clinical and administrative support within the Urgent Care centre
n
Welcome patients and assist with appointments and registration
n
Work alongside Registered Nurses to care for injuries and illnesses
n
Conduct patient histories and support clinical assessments
n
Administer medications and provide wound care and plastering Provide patient education and support
n




Maintain accurate clinical documentation
n
Complete Medicare billing and coding requirements
n
Ensure care is provided within scope of practice and ForHealth policies
n
Support workplace health and safety and report incidents and hazards
n
n
ABOUT YOU
n
n
Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse
n
Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
n
3 years' Primary Care/General Practice nursing experience OR
n
2 years' Emergency Department or similar experience OR
n
3 years' Medical/Surgical, Orthopaedic or similar acute care experience
n
Solid communication and organisational skills
n
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage escalations
n
A passion for patient-centred care
n
n
MANDATORY CHECKS
n
Successful candidates will be required to provide a Working with Children Check and National Police Check, with an International Police Check where applicable.
