We're looking for an experienced Senior Accountant – SMSF to manage a portfolio of SMSF clients and play a key role in delivering high-quality accounting, tax and compliance services. Working closely with Partners and Advisers, you'll help clients navigate complex superannuation and taxation matters while ensuring all regulatory obligations are met.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Prepare and review SMSF financial statements, income tax returns and supporting workpapers.
n
Generate financial statements and income tax returns primarily for SMSFs, as well as for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals.
n
Ensure compliance with SMSF regulatory obligations, including BAS, IAS, TBAR and PAYG reporting.
n
Prepare trustee resolutions, minutes and compliance documentation.
n
Liaise with auditors, the ATO and other external stakeholders to resolve queries and compliance matters.
n
Provide technical advice and support to clients on SMSF, taxation and accounting matters.
n
Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service.
n
Manage workflow priorities and contribute to a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
n
Utilise Class Super and related systems to maintain accurate and up-to-date client records.
n
Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance service delivery.
n

About You
n
You are a technically strong accountant with a passion for SMSFs and client service. You enjoy building trusted relationships, finding practical solutions and delivering quality outcomes.
n
Skills & Experience
n
n
Degree qualified in Accounting, Business or a related discipline.
n
Solid experience preparing SMSF financial statements and tax returns.
n
Strong understanding of SMSF legislation, taxation and compliance requirements.
n
Experience using Class Super (or similar SMSF software).
n
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
n
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
n
Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities.
n
Experience liaising directly with clients and providing technical advice.
n
A collaborative approach and willingness to support team success.
