About the Role
n
We are looking for a hands-on Assistant Accountant to support fund accounting, portfolio reporting, and day-to-day finance operations.
n
Reporting to the Finance lead, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate fund reporting and smooth operational processes, while gaining exposure to portfolio management and financial markets.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
Fund Accounting & Operations
n
n
Assist with daily / weekly / monthly NAV calculations
n
Perform trade and cash reconciliations
n
Support management & performance fee calculations
n
Maintain general ledger, journals, and bank reconciliations
n
Assist in preparing monthly reports and working papers
n
Liaise with administrators, auditors, and service providers
n
n
Corporate / Standard Accounting
n
n




Assist with month-end close processes
n
Prepare and post journals, accruals, and prepayments
n
Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations
n
Support preparation of financial statements and management reports
n
Assist with accounts payable / receivable (as required)
n
Support audit and compliance processes
n
n
Requirements
n
n
2–4 years accounting experience (financial services preferred)
n
Strong understanding of reconciliations and accounting basics
n
Experience with Xero / MYOB (or similar)
n
CA/CPA (in progress preferred)
n
n
