This role is suited to someone with hands-on experience operating vacuum excavation equipment and completing high-pressure water jetting works. You must be safety-focused, confident around plant and equipment, and willing to work across a variety of sites.

Vacuum Excavation Operator - Jetting Experience

This role is suited to someone with hands-on experience operating vacuum excavation equipment and completing high-pressure water jetting works. You must be safety-focused, confident around plant and equipment, and willing to work across a variety of sites.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Operate vacuum excavation trucks and associated equipment.
n
Complete high-pressure water jetting and drain-cleaning works.
n
Safely expose underground services using non-destructive digging methods.
n
Complete daily pre-start checks and report equipment defects.
n
Maintain vehicles and equipment in a clean and serviceable condition.
n
Complete required site documentation, including pre-starts, risk assessments and job records.
n
Follow all workplace health, safety and environmental requirements.
n




Communicate professionally with clients, supervisors and other team members.
n
Assist with general site duties when required.
n

About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
Previous vacuum excavation and high-pressure jetting experience.
n
Experience operating vacuum trucks and related equipment.
n
A current HR truck licence.
n
A current Construction White Card.
n
A strong understanding of secure work practices.
n
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
Good communication and time-management skills.
n
A reliable, hardworking and professional attitude.
n
The ability to complete physical and outdoor work.
n
Flexibility to work additional hours or travel when required.
n
n
Relevant high-pressure water jetting qualifications, confined-space training, working-at-heights training and other plant tickets will be highly regarded.
