Job Description
We are seeking a Kitchen Hand to join our small team of 2 at the Crows Nest Centre.
n
This role is for 2 days a week for 4 weeks.
n
It is a quiet kitchen, ensuring the efficient and safe preparation of meals and maintenance of a clean and organised work setting.
n
Key responsibilities
n
n
Daily packing of Meals on Wheels according to client dietary requirements
n
Unpacking stock adhering to First Expired First Out principles
n
Provide back up for Meals on Wheels drivers as necessary
n
Operating an industrial dishwasher
n
Operating an industrial oven (no cooking skills necessary)
n
Setting up catering trollies
n
Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and following food safety plans and hygiene
n
n
About you
n
A hardworking, reliable & positive team player who takes pride in their work
n
Ability to work efficiently and independently
n
Comfortable with physical work, including lifting (10kg), standing,



and repetitive tasks
n
A high regard for cleanliness
n
Speed and accuracy in undertaking duties
n
Basic computer literacy
n
Current NSW driver's licence preferred
n
Must be able to work Thursdays & Fridays 7:45am - 1:30pm
n
