About the Role
n
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Workshop Technician to join a well-established service team based in Sydney.
n
This is a workshop-based role where you will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining a range of commercial and industrial cleaning equipment. You will also assist with the assembly and pre-delivery inspection of new machines before they are delivered to customers.
n
Shift: Monday to Friday (Day Shift)
n
Salary: Up to $78,000 per year + Super
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Diagnose, repair and service commercial and industrial cleaning equipment.
n
Carry out preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing.
n
Perform mechanical and electrical fault finding and repairs.
n
Assist with light assembly and pre-delivery inspection (PDI) of new equipment.
n
Test equipment following repairs to ensure safe and reliable operation.
n
Complete service reports and workshop documentation accurately.
n
Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop environment.
n
Work collaboratively with the service team to meet repair and delivery deadlines.
n
Assist with stock control and workshop housekeeping as required.
n

Qualifications
n
n
Trade qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive, Diesel, or a related field is highly regarded.
n
Current Australian Driver's Licence.
n
n
Skills & Experience
n
n
Experience servicing, repairing or maintaining industrial, commercial or mobile equipment.
n
Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
n
Experience working with electric motors, batteries, controllers, hydraulics or similar systems.
n
Workshop or field service experience within industrial equipment, forklifts, access equipment, cleaning equipment, automotive or related industries.
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
Robust organisational and time management skills.
n
Professional attitude with a strong focus on safety and quality workmanship.
n
