Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Machinist / Programmer Operator to join our team at Alsop Engineering Pty Ltd in Taren Point, NSW. As a full time role, you will be responsible for operating and programming a range of CNC machinery to ensure high-quality and efficient production for our clients.

What you'll be doing
n
Operating a variety of CNC machines including lathes, mills, grinders and other specialty equipment
n
Programming CNC machines to produce parts and components to tight tolerances and specifications
n
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, plans and documentation to determine the optimal machining processes
n
Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance
n
Collaborating with the engineering team to continuously improve manufacturing processes and techniques
n
Ensuring all work is completed to the highest quality and safety standards
n
What we're looking for
n
Minimum of 5 years' experience as a CNC Machinist / Programmer Operator in a manufacturing or engineering environment
n
Strong working knowledge of CNC programming languages and software such as G-code and CAM systems
n
Expertise in operating a range of CNC machinery including horizontal machining center,



5 axis mills, other specialty equipment
n
Excellent problem-solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills
n
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, plans and documentation
n
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
n
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
