Join our onsite maintenance team and play a key role in keeping a busy meat processing facility operating safely and efficiently.

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Electrical Technician to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrician who enjoys hands‐on work, fault finding, preventative maintenance and working as part of a supportive team.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Carry out extra‐low voltage (ELV) and low‐voltage (LV) electrical work, including basic electronics breakdown repairs, maintenance and servicing.
n
Fault find and diagnose electrical and mechanical equipment.
n
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to minimise downtime.
n
Respond to breakdowns and complete repairs in a timely and safe manner.
n
Maintain equipment and the facility to a high standard of presentation and functionality.
n
Work closely with contractors, staff and other team members while providing a high level of customer service.
n
Follow workplace health, safety and compliance requirements.
n
Demonstrate a flexible and proactive approach to daily maintenance requirements.
n

About You
n
To succeed in this role, you will have:
n
n
Previous electrical maintenance experience,



preferably within a high‐paced meat processing or industrial environment.
n
Strong electrical and mechanical fault‐finding skills.
n
Experience with electrical maintenance, servicing and breakdown repairs.
n
Ability to safely use power tools.
n
Forklift and EWP/scissor lift experience or licences highly desirable.
n
The physical capability to safely move and work around equipment.
n
A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
n
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
n
A self‐motivated, reliable and responsible approach to work.
n
The ability to work effectively in a fast‐paced environment.
