Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market growth.

Manage and lead a small high-performing sales team, providing guidance and support.
n
Maintain and strengthen relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
n
Managing key customer relationships and leading strategic commercial negotiations.
n
Taking ownership of account profitability and P&L; performance.
n
Developing and executing state sales plans to achieve revenue and margin targets.
n
Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
n
Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
n
Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of sales staff.
n
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
n




Collaborate with internal teams to align sales objectives with broader company goals.

The Successful Applicant
n
A successful State Sales Manager - should have:
n
n
Proven experience in Key Account Management within the food retail industry.
n
Solid leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and stakeholder engagement.
n
Ability to analyse sales data, category performances, and pricing index and market trends to inform decision-making.
n
Strong organisational skills with a focus on achieving targets and deadlines.
n
Knowledge of compliance and industry regulations related to retail sales.
n
