Cater Care is seeking a Second Chef to support the Head Chef in delivering high-quality, high-volume catering.

This is a hands-on role with opportunity to develop leadership capability while working in a structured, supportive setting. You will be involved in daily kitchen operations, staff support, and maintaining consistent food quality and service standards.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Overseeing kitchen operations, staff supervision, training, and rosters
n
Performing all aspects of kitchen work, including bulk cooking and tray service
n
Preparing high-volume meals to specification with consistent quality and presentation
n




Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, WHS, and cleanliness standards
n
Acting as a liaison between Front of House and kitchen teams
n

Desired Skills and Experience

About You
n
n
Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (preferred or willing to obtain upon commencement)
n
Previous experience as a Chef or Second Chef in a similar environment
n
Strong organisation, multitasking, and time-management skills
n
Confident communicator with the ability to support team coordination
n
Working With Children Check and National Criminal History Check (or willingness to obtain)
