Job Description
Be a trusted legal partner: Provide transparent, pragmatic and commercially focused advice to senior leaders and teams across the Group.
Support strategic initiatives: Partner with the business on current products, projects, acquisitions, regulatory change and improvements to our systems and services.
Shape responsible AI and innovation: Advise on the design and governance of AI-enabled tools and processes across legal, regulatory, contractual, privacy and ethical considerations.
Lead commercial contracting: Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of supplier, technology, distribution, service and other commercial agreements.
Navigate complex regulatory matters: Advise across consumer credit, AML/CTF, competition and consumer law, franchising, real estate licensing, corporate, employment,



intellectual property and related regulatory matters.
Support customer and regulatory matters: Provide legal guidance on complex customer complaints and support engagement with regulators, government agencies and industry bodies.
Protect customer and business information: Advise on privacy, confidentiality and the appropriate management and use of customer information.
Make legal support smarter: Help improve the Legal team's processes, templates and tools to make legal support more productive and scalable.
Manage external counsel: Oversee external legal providers, including scope, quality and budget, while identifying opportunities to reduce external legal spend.
