Inner West

Part time - 4 days/week (28 hours) Tuesday to Friday 8:30am to 4pm

5 days can be offered for the right candidate

Are you an experienced RTO leader looking for a role where you can genuinely shape the future of a growing training organisation? My client is looking for a Manager to lead operations, compliance and quality across their Registered Training Organisation.

The organisation specialises in delivering nationally recognised Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) qualifications and professional development, supporting educators, teachers, and service leaders to build best-practice capability across the sector. This is a genuinely values-driven organisation making a real difference to the early education workforce.

What you'll be doing:
Leading day-to-day operations and delivery of accredited and non-accredited training programs.
Overseeing compliance with the 2025 ASQA RTO Standards and all relevant legislation and funding requirements.
Leading quality assurance, continuous improvement, and organisational risk management, including audit preparation.
Managing people and culture functions - recruitment, performance, development, retention, and succession planning.

Building and maintaining relationships with government agencies, industry bodies, and key stakeholders.
Monitoring budgets and KPIs, reporting directly to the CEO and Board.
Driving innovation and identifying opportunities for business development.

What we're looking for:
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent).
A qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (or related field).
At least 3 years' leadership experience within an RTO or similar education setting.
Robust knowledge of the 2025 RTO Standards, ASQA requirements, and VET legislation.
Proven experience in compliance, quality assurance, and audit processes.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Excellent to have (not essential):
Background in the ECEC or Family Day Care sector.
Knowledge of Smart and Skilled funding.
Experience working with government agencies.
Familiarity with Student Management Systems or online learning platforms.
Broader not-for-profit sector experience.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a compliance-savvy education leader who wants genuine autonomy, purpose-driven work, and the flexibility of a 4-day working week.
