We're partnering with a leading Australian organisation looking to bring on a Senior Project Manager on a 12-month fixed term contract, delivering a portfolio of technology projects within an established Agile PMO. A role bridging delivery teams and enterprise governance, making sure outcomes land on time, on budget and aligned to what the business actually needs.

The Opportunity

Carry up to five concurrent initiatives, sized from smaller work requests through to large multi-stakeholder projects
n
Deliver across genuinely different domains, from infrastructure and cloud through to business application rollouts, service management uplift, platform optimisation and automation requests
n
Run agile delivery within PMO standards, owning ceremonies, risk registers, governance and steering committee reporting
n
Engage corporate service leadership and business unit heads as a consultative partner, bringing them solutions they buy into rather than decisions handed down
n
Manage cross-functional teams and broker alignment between business and technical stakeholders
n
Own project budgets end to end, from cost estimation through forecasting, tracking and reporting
n
Track progress against KPIs, milestones and deliverables, and step in early when delivery drifts
n
Identify dependencies and resolve resource constraints across competing priorities
n
Contribute to continuous improvement of project management practice across the PMO

What We're Looking For
n
n
Seven or more years delivering technology projects, primarily within agile environments
n
A track record across varied project types
n
Agile certification such as AgilePM, SAFe or PRINCE2 Agile
n
Strong financial management, with real ownership of budgets and forecasting
n
The presence to hold a room at senior leadership level, and the discipline to produce packs and reporting that stand up to scrutiny
n
Confident with project and collaboration tooling such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps or similar, and strong reporting skills
n
Grounding in technology delivery, with enough fluency across infrastructure, cloud and applications to work credibly with technical teams
n
Experience in structured or regulated environments
n
Exposure to GenAI, Copilot or agentic AI rollouts an advantage
