BFT, part of the Somfy Group, the world leader in automatic controls for openings and closures in homes and buildings, is seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Executive to join our Access team in Dandenong South, Victoria.
n
In this important role, you will be responsible for driving new business growth and expanding our customer base, while fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders
n
As a Business Development Executive, you will be working in a full time capacity and will be instrumental in shaping the future success of our company. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your sales expertise and industry knowledge to make a tangible impact on our organisation.

Responsibilities

Grow the business to achieve defined sales target
n
Formulate and implement sales and distribution strategies
n
Build,



develop and manage relationships with customers
n
Evaluate new strategies to approach new accounts
n
Handle customer requests and deliver excellent service and product knowledge
n
Contribute to the overall growth and success of the Access business in Australia
n
n
Requirements
n
n
At least 5 years of experience in sales and territory management with proven sales track records
n
Strong interest in technical products and solutions - automation, electronics, mechanical engineering
n
Ambitious, highly motivated and self-starter to achieve sales target and result oriented
n
Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
n
Enjoy networking and meeting new people
n
Proficient and committed user of CRM (Salesforce or equivalent)
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, flexible with work hours and have a strong focus on customers. Whilst on the job training will be provided for this role, industry knowledge (gates, boom gates, garage doors or fencing) and qualifications in a technical or business-related field would be an advantage.
