The Coolangatta Hotel, Coolangatta, apart of Waymark Hotels, is seeking a Cook or Chef to join the team! Using only the freshest local produce, our restaurant is well known for its diverse and modern cuisine.

As a Chef / Cook, your daily responsibilities will include:
n
n
Assisting our team in maintaining an effective and proactive kitchen operation across both venues
n
Ensuring all meals are of high quality and are prepared on time
n
Utilising a variety of fresh, frozen, and prepared ingredients to prepare, cook, and present a range of dishes according to a seasonal menu
n
Practicing effective stock rotation and wastage minimisation procedures
n
Assisting with menu changes when required
n
n
Successful Candidate:
n
To be successful in the role, you will possess the following:
n
n
Previous experience in a fast-paced commercial kitchen
n
Availability to work any hospitality hours
n
Ability to work well under a high-pressure environment
n
Brilliant communication skills to all team members
n
n
Applicants should have formal qualifications and at least 1 years of relevant employment experience or, in the absence of formal qualifications, have at least 3 years of relevant employment experience.

Benefits:

The successful candidate will be provided with the following:
n

Full-time salary between $69,000 - $100,000 + Superannuation depending on experience
