Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 3:00pm

Pay rate $44 per hour

FHR is currently seeking a reliable experienced Early Childhood Educator Centre Chef to join our client in Mitcham on a casual ongoing role.
n
About the Role
n
This position requires someone who is passionate about working with children and able to provide a safe, nurturing and engaging environment.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Plan and prepare healthy, nutritious meals for children aged 6mths - 5yrs.
n
Plan and deliver cooking experiences with the children as part of the curriculum.
n
Update and plan menus quarterly (seasonal menu).
n
Order food supplies in consultation with the Centre Director.
n
Ensure Safe and Hygienic Handling and preparation of food and drinks.
n
Work as part of a team, to create a safe and caring environment for Children.
n

Requirements
n




n
Copy of Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
n
Clear Working with Children Check
n
Copy of Anaphylaxis and Auto immune device training (if separate from First Aid)
n
Police check (within 6 months)
n
National Safety & Child protection training evidence
n
Experience working in childcare or a similar role preferred
n
Must be reliable, punctual and adaptable
n
Available Monday to Friday 8:00am - 3:00pm
n
Must be available for casual ongoing role
n
