Tradewind Australia is partnering with a well-established early learning service in Kew to recruit an experienced and passionate Centre Director to lead their team and continue building on a strong culture of quality, inclusion and community.

About the Role
n
As Centre Director, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and operations of the service, while creating an environment where educators feel supported, children thrive and families feel genuinely connected.
n
You will:
n
n
Lead, mentor and inspire a dedicated team of early childhood professionals
n
Build strong and trusting relationships with children, families and the wider community
n
Oversee the delivery of a high-quality educational program aligned with the EYLF and NQF
n
Drive continuous improvement and maintain high standards of compliance and practice
n
Support educator development, performance and professional growth
n
Work collaboratively with your team to create a positive and inclusive workplace culture
n
Manage day-to-day service operations, staffing and resources
n




Build strong relationships with families and respond confidently to their needs
n
Ensure child safety remains at the centre of all decisions and practices
n
n
About You
n
We are looking for a passionate and experienced early childhood leader who is ready to make their mark.
n
You will ideally have:
n
n
A Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or equivalent ACECQA-approved qualification
n
Current VIT registration or eligibility for registration, where applicable
n
Previous experience as a Centre Director or Assistant Director
n
Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework, National Regulations and EYLF
n
Demonstrated experience leading and developing an early childhood team
n
Strong organisational, communication and relationship-building skills
n
A genuine commitment to child safety, inclusion and high-quality educational outcomes
n
The confidence to lead with warmth, accountability and professionalism
n
n
Most importantly, you will be a leader who is visible, approachable and genuinely passionate about creating a great environment for children, families and educators.
