Our busy specialist clinic in Brisbane is looking for a natural leader to run day-to-day operations, front-of-house, and deliver an exceptional experience for every client who walks through the door.

About the Role
n
This is a full time, on-site Practice Manager role at the heart of a busy specialist medical clinic. You'llbe hands-on across reception and client-facing duties as well as leading staff, overseeing clinic operations, and managing financial processes. It's a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who's happy working both on the floor and behind the scenes - no two days will look the same, and your ability to juggle both will directly shape the quality of care clients receive.

Key Responsibilities
n

Acting as the first point of contact at reception - greeting clients, managing appointments, and handling enquiries in person and by phone
n
Leading and motivating the clinic support team, including rostering, scheduling, and workforce planning
n
Working closely with medical specialists to ensure smooth clinic operations and optimal clinician utilisation
n
Delivering an exceptional client journey from first contact through to aftercare
n
Overseeing stock management, consumables, and equipment to keep the clinic fully operational
n
Managing financial processes including P&L; monitoring, invoicing, and end-of-day banking
n
Ensuring the clinic remains compliant, safe, and presented to the highest standard at all times
n
Supporting marketing and sales initiatives as the clinic continues to grow
n
Reporting directly to the Head of Operations.

Skills and Experience
n
n
Prior experience as a Practice Manager, Clinic Manager, or in senior clinic/medical administration, ideally including reception or front-of-house responsibilities
n
Comfortable balancing hands-on reception duties with broader management responsibilities
n
Experience working alongside medical specialists (highly advantageous)
n
Solid understanding of financial management and reporting
n
Confidence building relationships with clients, specialists, and staff at all levels
n
Proven ability to lead and develop a team in a fast-paced healthcare environment
n
Strong organisational skills and excellent written and verbal communication
n
A sharp eye for detail and a proactive, solutions-focused approach
n
