Role Overview:

Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiologist responsible for providing comprehensive, hands-on anesthesia care for neonatal and pediatric cardiac patients in an inpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Deliver 100% hands‐on anesthesia for pediatric cardiac cases, including neonatal cardiac surgeries and catheterizations.
n
Supervise CRNAs and participate in a 1:3 call rotation, including weeknight beeper coverage from 5:30 PM to 7:30 AM and 24-hour weekend coverage.
n
Work primarily Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with call duties outside these hours.

Qualifications & Skills

Board certification in anesthesia.
n
Fellowship training in pediatric cardiac anesthesia.
n
Experience in pediatric cardiac cases, neonatal care, and congenital heart disease procedures.
n
Ability to supervise staff and manage complex pediatric cardiac patients.
n

Work on‐site at a facility with specialized pediatric cardiac services.
n
Variable case load and patient population focused on children.
n
Participation in a structured call schedule, ensuring coverage during weekdays and weekends.
