All Industries Solutions Pty Ltd is seeking a qualified and experienced Motor Mechanic to join our team in Truganina. The successful candidate will work in our workshop servicing, maintaining and repairing a range of cleaning and transport vehicles.

About the Position
n
The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults, carrying out repairs and maintenance, and ensuring vehicles are maintained to a safe and reliable operating standard.
n
Key Responsibilities required
n
n
Discuss vehicle problems with operators to discover faults.
n
Testing and adjusting mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performance.
n
Tune engines using electronic equipment and adjust for smoother running.
n
Repairing and replacing worn and defective parts and reassembling mechanical components and referring to service manuals as needed.
n
Performing scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications and engine tune-ups, to achieve smoother running of vehicles and ensure compliance with pollution regulations.

Test and repair electrical systems such as lighting, instrumentation, ignition and electronic fuel injection.
n
Reassembling engines and parts after being repaired.
n
Detecting and diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults in engines and parts.
n
Respond to vehicle breakdown service calls.
n
Ability to work in a COVID-safe environment.
n

Skills and Experience
n
The successful candidate will have:
n
n
Australian Trade Qualified Certificate in Automotive Technology.
n
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a Motor Mechanic.
n
Solid knowledge of mechanical systems, vehicle servicing and repairs.
n
Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.
n
Experience with preventative maintenance and vehicle servicing.
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
n
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
n
n
