The Role
n
We're seeking an experienced Dispatch Manager to oversee our busy dispatch area. You'll lead a small team to ensure our trucks are loaded accurately and on schedule, working hands-on alongside staff to pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
Supervise and mentor a team of dispatch and warehouse staff (5 total)
n
Coordinate daily loading schedules to meet delivery deadlines
n
Hands-on involvement in picking, packing, and loading finished, powder-coated goods
n
Maintain accurate dispatch records and paperwork
n




Ensure compliance with workplace health & safety standards
n
Identify process improvements to boost efficiency and reduce errors
n
Load Rigid and Semi Trucks for deliveries to branches
n
Hands on management role
n
Hours
n
Monday to Friday: 7:00 am - 5:00 pm
n
Every second Saturday (7am - 1pm OT)
n
Key Requirements
n
Proven experience managing dispatch or warehouse operations
n
Hands-on experience with finished powder-coated goods preferred
n
Strong leadership and team-management skills
n
Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
n
Forklift licence MUST
n
High attention to detail and commitment to quality
n
