Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join a leading and well-established real estate and funds management business based in Sydney CBD.

This is an initial 3-6 month contract with a genuine pathway to permanent, providing an opportunity to join a high-performing finance team during a key reporting period.

The Role
n
n
Preparing statutory financial statements, including notes and disclosures
n
Supporting half-year and year-end financial reporting and close processes
n
Managing relationships and queries with external auditors
n
Preparing and reviewing supporting workpapers and reconciliations
n
Supporting tax calculations and trust-related reporting
n
Identifying and addressing technical accounting matters
n
Working closely with the Financial Controller, CFO and wider finance team
n
Ensuring reporting deadlines and requirements are met
n

About You
n
n
5+ years relevant accounting and financial reporting experience
n




Solid technical accounting knowledge across AASB/IFRS
n
CA/CPA qualification or working towards
n
Previous experience within real estate, property, funds management is highly desirable
n
Big 4 audit or advisory experience is desirable
n
Experience working with external auditors and managing audit processes
n
Strong statutory reporting and financial statement preparation experience
n
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
n
Immediate availability or 1 weeks' notice
n
