About the Personal Care Worker -Traineeship
n
n
Work a minimum of 3 shifts per week in an aged care setting over 12 months
n
On the job learning
n
Gain a nationally recognised Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) through TLC Learning
n
Secure ongoing employment opportunities within TLC Aged Care homes.
n
n

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Provide personal care, hygiene, grooming and oral care
n
Assist with meals, mobility and daily living activities
n
Support lifestyle and wellbeing programs
n
Monitor, document and report changes in residents' condition
n
Maintain accurate care records
n
Promote residents' dignity, choice and independence
n
Follow Aged Care Quality Standards, infection control practices and TLC policies
n
