The Opportunity

We're looking for experienced Carpenters, Builders Labourers and Timber Frame Assemblers to join a busy timber manufacturing operation based in Redland Bay.
n
You'll be working on a production line assembling prefabricated timber wall frames for the residential construction industry. The timber comes to the line already cut to length, so this isn't about standing on a saw all day. You'll be reading plans, positioning timber and using nail guns to assemble wall frames accurately and efficiently.
n
Qualified carpenters are highly desirable, however you don't necessarily need your trade certificate. If you've worked in residential framing, timber manufacturing or construction and you're confident using a nail gun, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing
n
n
Assemble prefabricated timber wall frames to plans and specifications
n
Position and secure pre cut timber components ready for assembly
n
Confidently operate pneumatic nail guns throughout the shift
n
Read basic plans, measurements and framing layouts
n
Work alongside forklift operators and production staff to keep each line moving
n
Complete quality checks to ensure frames are assembled correctly
n
Perform repetitive, physically active work in a busy manufacturing environment
n
Maintain strong safety and housekeeping standards
n

What We're Looking For
n
n




Qualified Carpenter or experienced Builders Labourer highly regarded
n
Previous timber framing, roof truss, wall frame or residential construction experience advantageous
n
Robust nail gun experience highly desirable
n
Confidence working with timber and understanding basic measurements
n
Ability to read plans or construction drawings advantageous
n
Physically fit and comfortable working on your feet
n
Reliable and able to commit to ongoing work
n
Available to start immediately or at short notice
n

Shift & Pay

Day Shift
n
6:00am-2:30pm
n
Monday-Friday
n
Afternoon Shift
n
2:30pm-11:30pm
n
Monday-Thursday
n
$35-$45/hr + Overtime depending on skills and experience.
n
Multiple opportunities are available across both shifts, with consistent work expected through December and continuing into late January.
