Job Description
Imperial Surf is looking for a practical and reliable handyman to assist with ongoing maintenance throughout a high-rise residential building in Surfers Paradise. This is not just a painting position. We are looking for someone who is good with their hands and can turn their attention to a variety of maintenance jobs around the building.

Painting will be a major part of the role, so good preparation and finishing skills are key. All the work is at one property, so there is no travelling between job sites. Hours and days are flexible and can be discussed with the successful applicant.

Painting walls, doors, foyers and common areas
n
Patching and plaster repairs
n
Sanding and preparation
n
Minor carpentry and timber repairs
n
Replacing and repairing fittings
n
Minor door and hardware repairs
n
Silicone and sealing work
n
General building maintenance
n
Small repair jobs as they come up
n

About you
n
n
General handyman/maintenance experience
n
Able to carry out plaster repairs and patching
n
Practical and able to problem-solve
n
Can work independently
n
Reliable and keeps work areas clean and tidy
n
Comfortable working around residents and guests
