IEPro are working with a highly regarded civil contractor to recruit an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the delivery of major civil infrastructure projects across Queensland.

The Opportunity
n
As Operations Manager, you will provide leadership across multiple projects, ensuring delivery teams consistently achieve safety, programme, commercial, and quality objectives.
n
Working closely with senior leadership, you will oversee Project Managers, Senior Project Engineers, and Supervisors while supporting business growth, project planning, client relationships, and operational performance.
n
This role is Brisbane based with occasional travel across Queensland depending on project requirements.

The Role
n

Provide operational leadership across multiple civil infrastructure projects
n
Mentor and support Project Managers, Engineers, and Supervisors
n
Drive safety, quality, environmental, and commercial performance
n
Oversee project planning, resourcing,



and delivery strategies
n
Review project budgets, forecasting, and financial performance
n
Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
n
Support tender reviews and project mobilisation activities
n
Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies
n
Contribute to business planning, continuous improvement, and future growth initiatives
n

About You
n
n
Degree qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
n
Proven experience leading the delivery of major civil infrastructure projects
n
Strong background in DTMR road construction projects
n
Demonstrated ability managing multiple Project Managers and project teams
n
Strong commercial, contractual, and financial management capability
n
Experience developing high-performing project teams
n
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
n
A practical, collaborative, and delivery-focused leadership style
n
