Studio Smiles is seeking an enthusiastic Dental Assistant / Receptionist to join us in Bayside, Highett *****).

As our practice continues to grow, we are looking for a Dental Assistant / Receptionist to join our team in a unique dual-role position.
n
This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to a wide range of treatments including cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign, dental implants and smile makeovers.
n
The Role

Unique dual-role position combining both reception and chairside dental assisting duties
n
No two days are the same – opportunity to work across patient care, reception, and treatment coordination
n
Permanent part-time or full-time position available (we're flexible)
n
Competitive remuneration - $30 to $38 per hour for esperienced candidates
n
n
About You
n
We are looking for someone who is reliable, proactive and takes pride in being someone their team can depend on.

Friendly, organized and confident with patients
n
Comfortable multitasking in a busy clinic
n
Happy to work as part of a small team
n
Dental experience strongly preferred
n

Some of your duties will include:
n
n
General Reception: Checking patients in and out, taking payments, discussing payment options, answering incoming phone calls
n
Caring for Patients: Greeting and preparing patients for their treatments,



offering reassurance and guidance as needed
n
Chairside Assisting: Setting up and assisting for dental procedures, while maintaining infection control standards
n
Providing Outstanding Customer Service: We want to 'wow' our patients
n
Being Adaptable: Being able to wear multiple hats in the practice and adapt to change
n
n

What you need
n
n
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant, Dental Receptionist or in a similar dental role is highly regarded
n
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
n
Robust communication skills for interacting with patients and team members
n
Ability to maintain patient records accurately and confidentially
n
Impeccable grooming and personal presentation
n
An eagerness to learn and willing to undertake training and education
