As a key member of our Day of Surgery team, you'll care for patients throughout their surgical journey, working alongside experienced clinicians in a fast-paced, professional, and supportive environment. You'll be supported by management team, be part of a solid, innovative team and have the opportunity to grow as you support our patient's each day.

Key responsibilities

Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care
n
Work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs
n
Act as a role model for Safe Practice
n
Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery
n
n
About you
n
n
Current Registration with AHPRA
n
Prior experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting
n
Prior experience in a day surgery setting highly regarded
n
Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
n
Excellent communication and customer service skills
n

Sippy Downs Day Surgery will be opening in November with 3 operating theatres providing surgical services to paediatric, adolescent and adult patients. Specialties include orthopaedics, endoscopy, plastics, pain management, oral & maxillofacial, paediatric dental.
