About the Role: Medirecruit is currently seeking an experienced Consultant Physician in General Medicine to join a leading tertiary health service in Sunshine Coast, QLD. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and high-performing medical department within a major referral hospital, providing comprehensive acute and inpatient medical care to a diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities

Acute inpatient general medical care
n
Management of complex multi-system disease presentations
n
Participation in acute medical take and on-call services
n
Involvement in multidisciplinary ward rounds and case conferences
n
Contribution to clinical governance, quality improvement, and service development
n
Teaching and supervision of junior medical staff and trainees
n

About You

Fellowship or equivalent specialist qualification in General Medicine or Internal Medicine
n
Broad experience managing acute and complex medical patients
n
Strong clinical decision-making and leadership skills
n
Commitment to teaching, training, and multidisciplinary care
n
Eligibility for specialist registration in Australia (or ability to obtain)
n
