The Role
n
As our newest Front Office Receptionist, you are the face of the hotel. You will be the go-to person for our guests, setting the mood for their stay from the second they walk through the door.
n
Your main goal is simple: bring your bright energy to the desk every day, keep things running smoothly, and make sure our guests leave with a smile.
n
What a Typical Day Looks Like:
n

Welcoming guests with a genuine smile and getting them checked in or out without a hitch.
n
Answering questions about the local area, helping out with reservation inquiries, and looking after group tours.
n




Handling day-to-day front desk admin, like balancing transactions and processing foreign exchange.
n
Thinking on your feet to solve guest issues quickly and smoothly.
n
Chatting with Housekeeping and Maintenance to ensure rooms are perfect and ready to go.
n

What You Bring to the Team:

Hotel Experience: You've worked on a hotel front desk before huge plus.
n
The Software: You know your way around OPERA. We will happily train the right person.
n
Your Personality: You're friendly, outgoing, and actually enjoy talking to people from all walks of life.
n
Cool Under Pressure: A busy lobby doesn't phase you; you stay calm, organized, and helpful when things get hectic.
n
Communication: Your presentation is sharp and you communicate easily with both guests and our other internal teams.
n
Flexibility: You understand hotel life means rotating rosters, including weekends and public holidays.
n
The Legal Stuff: You must have a current Australian work visa or permanent residency status.
