St Martin de Porres is seeking a dedicated and passionate teacher who can build a positive, inclusive and nurturing 1:1 learning environment. Working in partnership with an Educational Support Officer, the successful applicant will provide highly personalised teaching and learning experiences aligned to the student's individual goals, strengths and needs. The role requires a flexible, cooperative and student-centred approach, with a robust commitment to supporting engagement, wellbeing, independence and growth.

The successful applicant will
Actively support and contribute to the catholic ethos of the school
Demonstrate an understanding of contemporary, inclusive pedagogy that responds to the learning needs of students with disabilities.
Have experience in designing and implementing programs using the Australian Curriculum




Possess highly developed interpersonal skills to establish and maintain positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues
Demonstrate an understanding of and experience in supporting students with complex behaviours and the implementation of emotional regulation strategies
Be an energetic, dynamic educator who is committed to ongoing personal and qualified learning with a willingness to work collaboratively within teams.

The successful candidate will be required to have a Current Teacher Registration in South Australia ​and undergo our screening process, which includes a Working with Children Check, E-Screen, Applicant Declaration Form and RRHAN. These positions are from 12th October 2026 until 11th December 2026.
