Job Description
Casual 4 month opportunity, offering a hands-on project management role supporting the delivery of site-based capital and improvement projects for our client.

Join our client's team as a Project Manager, coordinating contractors, stakeholders, schedules, budgets, safety, commissioning and project delivery activities.

Location: Darwin, NT | Primarily 8-10 hour days, with potential weekend work, offering the opportunity to work autonomously while driving the successful delivery of multiple projects.

About the Position
n
Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a range of site-based capital and improvement projects in Darwin. This role will provide hands-on project leadership across contractors, schedules, budgets, safety, commissioning and operational handover, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with agreed business priorities.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Lead the delivery of multiple site-based capital and improvement projects from planning through to completion.
n
Coordinate contractors, vendors and internal stakeholders to manage resources, sequencing, schedules and project deliverables.
n
Monitor project costs, variations, forecasts, milestones and overall project performance.
n
Coordinate safety, commissioning, operational readiness and handover activities to ensure projects are delivered safely and efficiently.
n
Maintain project schedules, risk and action registers and provide clear reporting on progress, issues and upcoming milestones.

Experience Required
n
n
Proven project management experience within industrial, manufacturing, processing, waste or other heavy operational environments.
n
Experience delivering brownfield capital projects within live operational sites.
n
Strong contractor and vendor management skills, with a sound understanding of permits, SWMS/JSEAs and isolation requirements.
n
Experience managing project schedules, budgets, variations, risks and commissioning activities.
n
Relevant engineering, construction or project management qualification, or equivalent industry experience, with a current Australian driver's licence and White Card.
