Role Description This is a full-time, in office Support Worker role based in Adelaide, SA.
The Support
Worker will assist individuals with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, medication prompts, and household tasks, while encouraging independence and dignity. The role includes supporting clients to participate in community activities, appointments, and recreational outings, and promoting social inclusion.

Worker will follow individual support plans, maintain accurate documentation and incident reports, and communicate effectively with clients, families, and colleagues. The position also involves monitoring wellbeing, responding to changing needs, and contributing to a safe, respectful,
and empowering living environment.
Qualifications
Experience in disability support, aged care, community services, or a similar direct support role, with strong person-centered practice.
Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build trust, handle sensitive information, and collaborate in a team.
Practical skills in personal care, domestic support, and community access, with a focus on promoting independence and choice.
Ability to follow care plans, maintain clear documentation, and use basic digital tools or systems for reporting and scheduling.
Relevant qualification such as Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, Community Services, or equivalent (or working towards completion).
Current First Aid and CPR certifications, and a valid driver’s license suitable for client transport.
Required clearances and checks (e.g., NDIS Worker Screening or equivalent, national police check) as per local regulations.
Understanding of safeguarding, professional boundaries, and safety practices in residential and community settings.
Availability to work a range of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as needed.
