Job Description
Westal Windows is seeking an MR Truck Driver to load and safely deliver aluminium windows and doors in various designs and sizes. You will be part of a supportive team in a modern, progressive manufacturing business with a positive workplace culture.

Key responsibilities
n
n
Provide excellent customer service to builders and their clients
n
Load fabrications onto trucks using a forklift
n
Unload fabrications onsite by hand when required
n
Ensure loads are correctly packed and secured
n
Demonstrate excellent teamwork behaviour and productive communication with other staff, especially dispatch coordinators
n
Perform production tasks, yard duties, general housekeeping and maintenance when not required for deliveries
n
n
About you
n
n
Hold an MR Truck Licence with a safe driving history, or start as an offsider and be prepared to achieve a truck licence with company support
n
Be physically fit with good manual handling techniques; heavy lifting is a common part of the job on some sites during offloading
n




Ideally hold a forklift ticket or be willing to obtain one
n
Hold a Construction White card
n
Be reliable with positive attendance for previous employers
n
Be able to pass a drug and alcohol test as part of the recruitment process
n
