This is a job that's interesting, exciting, and different every day as you drive our well-maintained trucks to different sites.

You'll be providing excellent transport services to our customers and maintaining our health and safety standards. Full time and casual roles available. Multiple casual and full time roles available.

What you'll be doing in this job
n
n
Driving vehicles to transport materials (interstate/long distance)
n
Inspecting and maintaining vehicle supplies and equipment such as diesel, oil, water, tires, lights and brakes to ensure that the vehicle is in a proper and safe working condition
n
Maintaining records such as work diary, cargo consignment notes and obtaining proof of delivery for every delivery
n
Using and maintaining tools and equipment found on commercial vehicles such as weighing and measuring devices and restraint equipment
n
Checking the load corresponds with the paperwork and recording breakage or damage
n
Making sure the load is correctly loaded and secured by the appropriate equipment when loading or before departing depot
n
Calculating and estimating the weight of loads to comply with load limits
n
Coupling and uncoupling trailers
n




There'll be work on weekends and public holidays

About you
n
Here are the skills and qualifications you'll need to be considered for this role.
n
Essential Criteria
n
n
Current Heavy Vehicle Driving License with appropriate class HC or MC
n
Minimum HC class drivers' licence is required for this role
n
Knowledge of the National Heavy Vehicle Accreditation Scheme (NHVAS) along with BFM standards
n
Attained unit of competency TLIF**** – Apply a fatigue risk management system (BFM Drivers only)
n
Demonstrated driving record (a recent Driving History / Demerit Point Record)
n
Driving experience (an internal driving assessment will take place)
n
Ability to safely conduct manual handling activities
n
Good communication skills
n
Acting with integrity
n
Ability to comply with Company policies, procedures, and legislative requirements
n
n
Desirable Criteria
n
n
Knowledge of the Australian Dangerous Goods Code (ADG)
n
A Dangerous Goods License and Forklift License would be highly regarded
n
