Job Description
Boral Asphalt is seeking a motivated and safety-focused Plant Operator to join our team at our West Burleigh Asphalt Plant. This hands-on role plays a key part in the production of quality asphalt products that help build and maintain essential road infrastructure across the Gold Coast region.

Working within a close-knit team, you will operate and monitor plant equipment, support loading and production activities, and contribute to the safe and efficient operation of our asphalt facility.

Your day will involve:
n

Operating and monitoring asphalt plant equipment and production processes
n
Conducting routine plant inspections and preventative maintenance activities
n
Assisting with troubleshooting, fault finding, and minor repairs
n
Managing stock materials and supporting plant housekeeping activities
n
Operating mobile plant equipment where licensed and trained
n
Maintaining accurate production and safety records
n
Following Boral's safety, environmental, and quality standards at all times
n
n
What are we looking for?
n
n
Previous experience in manufacturing, asphalt, quarry, concrete, construction, or industrial environment
n
Mechanical aptitude and a strong commitment to workplace safety
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
n
Mobile plant tickets or licences (Loader, Forklift or similar) highly regarded
n
A flexible approach to work, including occasional overtime when required
n
