Construction Director / Licensed Builder

The Opportunity
n
Our client are seeking a highly experienced Construction Director / Licensed Builderto lead the delivery of residential projects across NSW. This role will oversee a portfolio of medium-density and volume housing developments, including detached homes, duplexes, and townhouses.
n
This is a key leadership position within a growing, vertically integrated development and construction business, offering strong autonomy and long-term career progression.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Lead end-to-end delivery of multiple residential construction projects
n
Manage programme, cost, quality, and safety outcomes across all sites
n
Oversee site teams, supervisors, subcontractors, and consultants
n
Drive construction efficiency, productivity, and delivery performance
n
Manage budgets, procurement, and cost control processes
n
Contribute to value engineering and buildability reviews
n
Ensure compliance with NCC, Australian Standards, and WHS requirements
n
Maintain solid relationships with stakeholders, consultants, and authorities
n
n




About You
n
n
10+ years' experience in residential construction (hands-on site background essential)
n
Current NSW Class 1 Builder Licence(mandatory)
n
Class 2 Licence (highly regarded)
n
Degree qualified in Construction, Engineering, or related discipline
n
Strong commercial acumen (budgeting, procurement, cost control)
n
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and teams
n
Confident leader with a hands-on, solutions-driven approach
n
