As the Shop Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our smash repair facility, ensuring high-quality workmanship, efficient workflow, can estimate damaged vehicles and outstanding customer service. You will lead a team of technicians, coordinate repairs, and maintain solid relationships with customers, insurers and suppliers.

Key responsibilities

Manage daily workshop operations and workflow
n
Supervise and support technicians and administrative staff
n
Ensure repairs are completed on time and to a high standard
n
Liaise with customers, insurance companies, and assessors
n
Monitor job progress, costs, and profitability
n
Maintain workplace health and safety standards
n
Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally
n

About you
n
n
Proven experience in smash repairs (management preferred)
n
Strong leadership and team management skills
n
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
n
Ability to prioritise and manage multiple jobs efficiently
n
Knowledge of estimating systems and insurance processes (highly regarded)
