Job Description
We are partnering with an established international business operating within the industrial gases and environmental solutions sector to appoint an APAC Finance Director based in Melbourne.

This is a senior leadership role for a commercially minded finance leader who can operate as a genuine business partner to the executive team, while leading the broader finance function.

The prospect:
n
n
Lead Finance across the APAC business
n
Act as a strategic partner to senior commercial and operational leadership
n
Own FP&A;, budgeting, forecasting and performance management
n
Drive commercial insights to support growth and key business decisions
n
Lead a regional team of approximately 10 across Australia and Asia
n
Drive finance transformation, process improvement and systems optimisation
n
Support strategic projects, M&A; and business integration activities
n
Over time, take on broader finance partnering responsibilities for global business units
n

We are looking for:
n
n




CA / CPA / ACCA / CIMA qualified finance leader
n
Strong commercial finance and FP&A; background
n
Experience at Finance Director, Head of Finance or equivalent senior level
n
Track record partnering with MDs, GMs and senior business leaders
n
Experience leading finance transformation or significant change initiatives
n
Manufacturing, industrial, engineering or similarly operational environments preferred
n
Strong, confident leadership style with the ability to constructively challenge the business
n
Hands-on and comfortable working in an entrepreneurial, evolving environment
n
ANZ experience is sufficient; broader APAC exposure is advantageous but not essential
n
n
