Requirements of Storeperson role:
n
n
Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment
n
Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies
n
Ensure proper storage and handling of engineering materials
n
Ensure goods received match purchase orders and delivery documentation
n
Communicate with suppliers regarding shipment status and delivery requirements
n
Receive, store, assemble, pack and/or unpack goods
n
Assist with the coordination of battery and power operated tools and some plant equipment – maintenance, testing and tagging, cleaning, servicing schedules. (highly desirable but not essential)
n
Ensure smooth flow of receiving inbound materials & processing of orders
n




Assist Tradesmen as required & directed by the Purchasing Manager or Supervisor
n
Maintain stores area in a clean state
n
Deliver goods from store to customer locations and maintain consumables across our site
n
Load and/or unload vehicles and/or trucks as required. (Forklift/HR license desirable)
n
Uphold & obey all workplace WHSE requirements, as instructed by company policies and procedures
n
n
Important requirements of the role
n
n
Minimum 2 years' experience as a storeperson
n
Proficiency in using an RF system and computer literacy is required
n
C-class license
n
Previous experience working in an engineering warehouse environment is desirable
n
n
