Jayco is Australia's leading manufacturer of recreational vehicles, proudly designing and building quality products for Australian and international markets. We are currently looking for a reliable and experienced Leather Cutter to join our manufacturing team at our Dandenong South facility.

This is a hands‐on role suited to someone who has experience working with leather, vinyl, fabric or similar materials and takes pride in producing accurate, high‐quality work.

About the Role
n
As a Leather Cutter, you will be responsible for accurately cutting leather and other upholstery materials used across our recreational vehicle range.
n
Working as part of our production team, you will follow patterns, specifications and production requirements to ensure materials are cut accurately, efficiently and to Jayco's quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
n

Cut leather, vinyl, fabric and other upholstery materials according to patterns and specifications.
n
Inspect materials for defects and ensure the best use of material when cutting.
n




Accurately measure and prepare materials for production.
n
Operate cutting equipment and tools safely and correctly.
n
Ensure completed work meets required quality standards.Minimise material waste through efficient cutting and material placement.
n
Maintain a clean, secure and organised work area.
n
Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
n
Work closely with the wider production and upholstery team to meet daily production requirements.

About You
n
n
Previous experience in leather, fabric or upholstery cutting.
n
Experience within a manufacturing, upholstery, automotive, furniture or similar environment.
n
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
n
Ability to read and follow patterns, templates and measurements.
n
Strong work ethic and reliability.
n
Ability to work efficiently in a fast‐paced manufacturing environment.
n
