Senior Project Manager – Technology & Transformation

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Managerto lead the delivery of complex technology and business transformation initiatives within a large-scale transport and enterprise environment.
n
This is a high-profile opportunity for a delivery-focused Project Manager who can provide strong governance, manage competing priorities and confidently engage with senior stakeholders across business, technology, vendors and delivery teams.
n
The Role
n
You will take ownership of projects from initiation through to delivery, ensuring outcomes are achieved within agreed scope, schedule and budget. You will work across a range of technology initiatives, including infrastructure, cloud, cyber security and broader enterprise transformation.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Lead complex technology and business transformation projects from initiation through to successful delivery.
n
Develop and manage project plans, governance frameworks, risks, issues, dependencies and budgets.
n
Coordinate internal teams, vendors and delivery resources to achieve project outcomes.
n
Monitor delivery progress, identify issues and implement corrective actions where required.
n
Prepare clear project reporting and executive-level updates.
n
Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across business and technology teams.
n
Support delivery across infrastructure, cloud, cyber security and enterprise transformation initiatives.
n
Manage competing priorities within a complex and highly visible setting.
n
Identify opportunities to improve project delivery practices, governance and processes.

About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
7+ years' experiencein project delivery, with at least 3 years in a Senior Project Manager or similar role.
n
Proven experience delivering complex projects within government, transport or large enterprise environments.
n
Strong technology and business transformation project experience.
n
Exposure to infrastructure, cloud, cyber security or enterprise transformationinitiatives.
n
Strong project governance, planning, budgeting, risk and dependency management skills.
n
Experience managing vendors, delivery teams and multiple stakeholders.
n
Strong executive communication and stakeholder management capability.
n
Experience working across Waterfall, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum or hybrid delivery environments.
n

Desirable
n
n
Experience within the transport or public sector.
n
Previous experience working with large systems integrators or managed service providers.
n
PRINCE2, PMP or equivalentproject management certification.
n
Australian citizenship.
n
n
