Job Description
Swift Transport Services is seeking a Casual Warehouse Assistant to work alongside our Warehouse Manager and our dynamic team at our Dandenong South facility. This is a casual position t contributing to the smooth operation of our warehouse operations. As a Warehouse Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our logistics and distribution activities, ensuring that goods are handled efficiently and safely.

What you'll be doing
n
Receiving, checking and recording incoming goods and materials into the warehouse system
n
Packing and preparing orders for dispatch to customers with accuracy and care
n
Operating warehouse equipment e.g forklifts and pallet jacks safely and competently
n
Organising and maintaining stock in designated warehouse areas to optimise space and accessibility
n
Conducting regular stock checks and reconciliation to ensure inventory accuracy
n
Loading and unloading delivery vehicles with efficiency and attention to safety protocols
n
Maintaining a clean, organised and protected warehouse environment in compliance with workplace health and safety standards
n
What we're looking for
n
Proven experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment
n




Valid forklift high reach forklift licence
n
Physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks regularly throughout your shift
n
Attention to detail with strong organisational skills
n
Basic computer literacy and familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageous
n
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety standards
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
Reliable, punctual and flexible approach to casual work arrangements
n
Able to start straight away a big advantage!
