Our client is a Spatial computing and AI company, converging these technologies to empower agency and independence for people living with vision disability.
n
They are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their team in Sydney, NSW.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
Software Development:
n
n
Develops proprietary software functionality to meet requirements, while ensuring the delivery of a high performing architecture over the full-stack of firmware and/or software;
n
Translates product needs into Mobile & Cloud software requirements;
n
Works closely with all engineering team members to ensure tasks are defined and completed as required, to meet project needs, deadlines and the company QMS.
n
n
Integration & Optimisation
n
n
Coordinates integration of other software components from ARIA team members, and works closely with other team members to ensure integration is successful;
n
Leads optimisation efforts to meet product and software goals;
n




Reviews and integrates 3rd party components into Mobile & Cloud functions as required.
n
n
DevOps
n
n
Creates and maintains testing frameworks for all required Mobile & Cloud components;
n
Develops and coordinates the verification strategy for Mobile & Cloud functionality;
n
Ensures tests and test results can be clearly reported on at all times via CI/CD;
n
Executes software projects with an Agile framework.
n
n
To be considered you will need a level of skill commensurate with a relevant bachelor degree or higher qualification and two years of relevant post qualification employment experience OR at least five years of relevant employment experience.
n
You will also need to demonstrate
n
n
Proficient in coding languages such as Python, C, C++, C# and JavaScript;
n
Proficient in the concepts and deployment of Agile and DevOps in software development;
n
Experience deploying applications to Android and/or IOS devices
n
Experience developing within Unity for XR/VR/AR or similar systems
n
Excellent documentation, communication and presentation skills.
n
n
